About CSSPS School Selection Form PDF
- The GES CSSPS School Selection Form PDF 2023/2024 contains names of senior high schools, location, school code, district, programmes, email address, gender across Ghana.
- The CSSPS School Selection Register PDF 2023/2024 contains about 865 Senior High Schools (SHS). SHTS, TVI grouped from categories (A to D).
- The CSSPS School Selection Form PDF 2023/2024 contains a list of programmes for both private and public Senior High Schools as well as technical institutions and their courses.

- The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) is a system used by the GES to place students transiting from the Junior High Schools (JHS) into Senior High Schools (SHS), Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) and Technical/ Vocational Institutes (TVIs).
CSSPS School Selection Date
- A School selection video containing detailed guidelines for the BECE school selection will be shown from 18th August, 2023 on respective channels of the Ministry of Education.
- The selection of schools by BECE candidates will however take place between 23rd August, 2023 to 4th September, 2023 across the country.
Grouping of Schools
Available schools have been grouped into CATEGORIES as follows:
- Public Second Cycle Institutions are categorized into Category A, B, C and D
- These include SHS/ SHTS, Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions
- Appendix 1 contains Detailed Technical and Vocational Education and Training Service (TVETS) programmes
- Appendix 2 contains detailed subjects of the Technical Programmes in the Sec/Tech. institutions
- Appendix 3 contains Special Boarding Schools for the Sixth (6th) Choice
- Appendix 4 contains list of Special Education Division (SPED) Schools

- Some schools have been moved to different Categories (Recategorized)

Before making any selection of schools and programmes offered in these schools, note that all schools selected (1st to 6th) are considered in the placement of candidates.
How To Choose Schools For CSSPS Placement – Selection Criteria
- Choose a total of Six (6) schools (1st – 6th choices)
- Select programmes and accommodation for each school selected
- Choose a compulsory day as 6th choice (Catchment Area School) or choose boarding School from the list of schools in Appendix 3
- Indicate ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to accept or decline to opt for a cluster.
- List 1st – 5th choices in order of preference
- Incase you wish to offer purely TVET Programmes you must select all six(6) TVETS schools from CATEGORY A, B and C as Day or Boarding
- You cannot choose more than one (1) School from Category A
- Cannot select more than two (2) schools from Category B
- May select five (5) choices from Category C and One (1) from Category D (Day) or Appendix 3 (Special Boarding)
